The industrial park and truck scale are open 24 hours. FTZ’s main office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00pm.

No. FTZ 12 has been a privately held company since its inception in the early 70’s.
Yes. A contract is required for both the logistics program, office, ground and building lease.
Under our logistics program the minimum space required is 100 SF. For a stand alone building lease, buildings range from 8000 SF to 120,000 SF.
FTZ’s are authorized by the Foreign Trade Zone’s Board which consist of the Secretary of Commerce and the Secretary of Treasury. The Secretary of Commerce serves as the chairman and executive officer of the Board.
Merchandise can be stored indefinitely in an FTZ. There is no time constraint on storage of foreign and domestic goods.
CBP oversees the operations and ensures compliance with regulations. CBP supervises the movement of merchandise in and out of FTZs, handles revenue collection related to duties, taxes, and fees, and enforces all relevant laws.
Retail trade is prohibited in a Foreign Trade Zone.
